Lawrenceville, GA – (June 8, 2006) – The Real Estate Book, the #1 real estate publication in the country, today announces a multi-year agreement with RealtyTrac (www.RealtyTrac.com), the second most visited real estate portal site on the web, to publish its online property listings. The deal makes The Real Estate Book the exclusive print publication provider of resale content to RealtyTrac, best known as the nation’s largest online foreclosure marketplace, with nearly 3 million unique monthly visitors according to MediaMetrix for the month of April 2006.
“As the world’s largest network of real estate magazines, it made sense for The Real Estate Book to partner with one of the fastest-growing real estate sites on the Internet to expand our portfolio of properties and offer our advertisers another source for high quality leads,” says Glenn Goad, Executive Vice President of Consumer Strategy at Network Communications, The Real Estate Book’s parent company.
Adds Todd Walker, Vice President of Sales for The Real Estate Book, “Aligning ourselves with a site like RealtyTrac that has monthly traffic in the millions further delivers on our promise to offer our advertisers unparalleled exposure and more leads. We look forward to a great relationship with RealtyTrac.”
The multi-year agreement will expand RealtyTrac’s property listings to now include hundreds of thousands of resale homes from The Real Estate Book. All advertisers of The Real Estate Book will now have their resale listings available on the RealtyTrac’s homepage under the “Resale” tab. The Real Estate Book listings will be available to consumers for free and with no registration required. The listing will be branded with The Real Estate Book logo and the leads will be delivered directly to The Real Estate Book advertisers.
“Adding resale properties from an industry leader like The Real Estate Book to our website truly provides our subscribers with the broadest range of choices available on any real estate portal,” noted James J. Saccacio, RealtyTrac CEO. “Now home buyers and investors can choose from over 1 million resale properties, foreclosures, bank-owned homes, for-sale-by-owner and new construction properties all in one central location.”
The alliance also calls for RealtyTrac to become the exclusive provider of foreclosure properties on LivingChoices.com, the real estate portal site for Network Communications. Consumers will be able to search the RealtyTrac database from several locations on LivingChoices.
