Home Improvement provides an Independent Distributor (ID) with a turnkey system that incorporates product and market development, as well as training and support. This allows a dedicated individual, interested in owning their own business, to launch a magazine equipped with the knowledge and tools to control the success of his or her publication.
Home Improvement is published through a distribution network made up of independent business people. We take pride in building a team of professionals who can grow a business and consistently outperform the competition. IDs are highly motivated, sales-driven, customer-focused individuals who sell the Home Improvement product, ready it for production and ensure distribution of the finished publication within their territory.
Currently, we offer two home improvement publications through our independent distributor program; homeimprovement, The Resource Guide for Homeowners and homeimprovement magazine. Each has unique benefits, financial requirements and market characteristics. We can help guide you to the publication best suited for your market and individual financial qualifications.
IDs are the operators of their publications. They sell ads; help advertisers design ads and write ad copy; submit the materials for production and online exposure; and they distribute Home Improvement in their market. In general, they manage their publishing business to ensure growth and profitability. Many IDs grow to own more than one publication and NCI has a vested interest in the financial future of every ID and supports the efforts of IDs as they build equity and grow their company.
